Familiarization Trips & Site Inspections

The best way to sell AMResorts® properties to your guests is to see the product itself! When you’re in AMResorts® destinations, we encourage you to visit and experience our resorts.

As an AMResorts® Master Agent, you have the opportunity to embark on special FAM trips! As we’re rapidly growing into new, unique destinations, it’s important that both new and seasoned travel agents get to embark on these trips.

Here’s what a FAM Trip includes, all led by your region’s Business Development Manager (BDM):

• Accommodations at host resorts
• Site experiences with opportunity to see accommodations, explore facilities, taste cuisine at restaurants and more
• Special dinners and events
• Tour or excursion (select trips)

We offer all travel agents the opportunity to go on Site Inspections when visiting our resort destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America. Site Inspections, led by our friendly resort staff, will allow you to explore accommodations and facilities. 

Agents are permitted to visit each resort once per year on a Site Inspection pass. They’re confirmed based on availability with the resort directly. Travel agent affiliation ID is required at check-in (ex: IATA, CLIA, ARC, etc.). No exceptions.
